WHERE WILL THE PATH LEAD?
I’ve always loved drawing, imagining, and making things.
I remember being five or six years old, dropping down into the grass and wondering what it would be like to walk around down there. Suddenly, the ordinary world became enormous.
A blade of grass could become a forest. A tiny path could lead anywhere. Every little thing held the possibility of an adventure.
That feeling of curiosity and wonder became part of Bayu’s World.
Today, I still explore in much the same way with a sketchbook in hand, looking closely, noticing the little things, and wondering what might be around the corner.
Sometimes a simple line becomes a character. A small detail becomes a story. And sometimes, I discover something completely unexpected.
For me, art is about staying curious, following your imagination, and seeing where an idea takes you.
